Originally was going to be a two parter, but I didn’t like how the first part came out, so… I've basically shoved that into a folder, and it shall never be seen, ha. Tried shading this time around rather than just flat coloring it.
Okay, you know what? I changed my mind, sort of. The Water Temple isn’t as bad as I remember it being… but it still is one of my least favorites (so far anyway…), but now I know that it can be done. I just have to use my keys wisely.
Yes, I’m sure we all know just how much backtracking we have to do in this freaking temple. I’ve pretty much memorized where all the water switches are because of how many times I had to lower/raise the water level.
The most frustrating part was probably the whirlpool part. I actually forgot earlier on to play the Song of Time so again I got momentarily stuck. I must have got sucked into the whirlpools at least seven times. I’ve drained Link’s life bar to the point where he does that panting thing behind the beeping. It took me about five tries to actually realize you’re supposed to hookshot onto a tiny platform. At least Link survives, for now.
I hear people say that Dark Link is supposed to be the hardest miniboss in the game, but really, I had little to no trouble fighting him. Maybe there are situational factors, but all I did was slash him with the Master Sword. I had Din’s Fire and the Megaton Hammer equipped, but it was never needed. In my run, I had nine hearts, and he went down pretty fast. Maybe I jus got lucky; maybe he isn’t as hard as people say.
Took me about 4 hours to complete this dungeon (yes, I’m slow), but I don’t care anymore. It’s done, I don’t want to look at this temple again for a long time. I’m just thinking how funny it would be if Link were to fall asleep after playing Zelda’s Lullaby so many times, and I still don’t understand Poes

This is going to sound crazy to at least some of you people, but I simply found this temple fairly challenging and not a pain in any way. Overall, I like it.
